Gap Closing research projects were lead by myself to collect evidence both quantitatively and qualitatively that the Gap Closing resources were effective in improving student achievement (close gaps) and also in improving student confidence, perseverance and attitudes towards learning mathematics.  Teacher practice was also changed as result of the work in gap closing.
